About us

Airnity is a rapidly growing French company in the telecommunications field. We are a mobile operator serving automotive manufacturers and helping them meet the challenge of ultra-connected vehicles.

One of our strengths as a telecom operator is that we heavily use "cloud-native" technologies. This allows us to have an extremely agile approach to our business and position ourselves as a viable alternative to traditional players.

We need help

As a Telecom Operator, we handle a large amount of data to improve our quality of service, manage costs and revenue, and develop innovative features. In run mode, we deal with several TB of data per day, so scalability is important.

As part of our Data team, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and operating our data processing pipelines. This will improve visibility and control internally and with our partners.

Since our organization follows Holacracy, you will have opportunities to contribute beyond this description, either staying data-focused (data analysis, visualization, etc.) or exploring other areas.

No prior knowledge of Telecom specifics is required. You will receive training on this during the development process.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and architecting

  • Selecting technologies to implement

  • Developing data processing pipelines

  • Implementing continuous integration and deployment

  • Writing automated tests

  • Operating the solutions

Our technology stack includes:

  • Spark

  • Kafka

  • Python

  • Delta Lake

  • Grafana

  • AWS

  • Kubernetes

  • ArgoCD & CrossPlane

  • GitHub

Our environment

As Airnity is organized as a Holacracy, you will have complete freedom to propose the role or roles you wish to take on in order to best benefit the team with your experience. You can also develop new skills by choosing other roles.

Airnity is a full-remote company, allowing you to work from anywhere in France. If you are located in the Toulouse or Nice region, there is also the possibility of occasional co-working.

And you?

You are an experienced and adaptable data engineer who has successfully navigated high-pressure production releases, particularly with large data volumes.

You possess independent thinking, proactive problem-solving skills, and a positive mindset. You are seeking new technical challenges and are open to exploring unconventional approaches in your work.

You speak French and you are fluent in English.
