About us

Airnity is a rapidly growing French company in the telecommunications field. We are a mobile operator serving automotive manufacturers and helping them meet the challenge of ultra-connected vehicles.

โ€‹

One of our strengths as a telecom operator is that we heavily use "cloud-native" technologies. This allows us to have an extremely agile approach to our business and position ourselves as a viable alternative to traditional players.

We need help

As an SDN IP Engineer with a DevOps focus and a broad skill set, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and automating the deployment and management of our SDN and IP networks. Your role will involve seamlessly integrating SDN solutions with Kubernetes, utilizing Cilium for enhanced security, implementing advanced networking protocols, and ensuring compatibility with GCP GKE for cloud-native environments.

In particular, you will be working on:

โ€‹

IPv6 Implementation

  • Design and implement IPv6 strategies for network expansion and future-proofing.

  • Ensure seamless integration of IPv6 with existing SDN and IP infrastructures.

โ€‹

BGP Configuration and Optimization

  • Configure and optimize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for efficient routing in complex network environments.

  • Collaborate with network operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve BGP-related issues.

โ€‹

IPsec Implementation and Management

  • Implement and manage IPsec protocols for secure communication between network entities.

  • Work on encryption and authentication configurations to enhance network security

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and K8S Integration with GKE

  • Develop and maintain IaC scripts using tools like CrossPlane and Terraform for the automated deployment and configuration of SDN components within Kubernetes clusters.

  • Integrate SDN solutions seamlessly with Kubernetes, ensuring compatibility with IPv6, BGP, and IPsec configurations, with a focus on GKE for GCP deployments.

Cilium Integration for Network Security and Observability

  • Implement and configure Cilium for enhanced network security and observability within Kubernetes clusters.

  • Leverage Cilium features for advanced network policies, load balancing, and API-aware security in GKE environments.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with K8S and GKE

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for SDN and IP network changes within Kubernetes environments, considering IPv6 and IPsec configurations, and specifically tailored for GKE.

  • Automate testing procedures to ensure the reliability of SDN changes with secure networking protocols.
