We need help
We know it's hard to recruit in the Telecom space – don't try to check all the boxes 😅
Within the Engineering team, you will take part in defining and developing critical systems for a Telecom operator. Your work will be focused on 5G-SA network nodes and a Kubernetes Operator.
About 5G-SA Network Nodes (No telecom experience required!)
5G-SA (Standalone) network nodes are the core software components that power modern 5G networks. Think of them as high-performance, distributed microservices that handle critical network functions like user authentication, session management, data routing, and service orchestration.
Key technical challenges you'll tackle

Scale: Handle millions of concurrent connections and massive data throughput

Latency: Sub-millisecond response times for critical operations

Reliability: Zero-downtime deployments and fault-tolerant design

Standards compliance: Implement well-defined 3GPP specifications (we'll teach you these)

Our environment
As Airnity is organized as a Holacracy, you will have complete freedom to propose the role or roles you wish to take on in order to best benefit the team with your experience. You can also develop new skills by choosing other roles.
Airnity is a full-remote company, allowing you to work from anywhere in France. If you are located in the Toulouse or Nice region, there is also the possibility of occasional co-working.
And you?
You have at least 7 years of experience in software development in Cloud backend development and are open to languages such as Elixir, Golang, and Rust.
You are autonomous and take part in all activities necessary for development (definition, architecture, tooling, testing, operations, support).
You speak French and you are fluent in English.
